Competition and consumer protection law
We provide comprehensive counseling services in the area of competition law, including antitrust notifications and clearance (M&A), as well as on issues related to dominant position abuse, as well as the law related to consumers’ rights.
SCOPE OF ADVICE:
- analysis of the activities planned and undertaken by Clients to assess their compliance with the law of unfair competition, carrying out negotiations and representing Clients in respective disputes;
- notification to the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKIK) of the intention to make a concentration, including the preparation of full documentation related to the notification and representation of Clients in proceedings before the UOKiK;
- analysis regarding possible violations of competition law, especially in case of conclusion of agreements restricting competition and abuse of dominant position, as well as representing Clients before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection;
- challenging the decisions of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in cases involving the implementation of the obligation to notify the intention of concentration and representation of Clients before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection;
- representation of Clients before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the Trade Inspectorate;
- performing ongoing evaluation of our Clients’ planned marketing activities from the point of view of compliance with applicable laws.
